These Terms govern your use of CVBranch at cvbranch.com. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use CVBranch.
What CVBranch is
CVBranch is a software tool that helps you compare a resume to a job description, capture evidence for skill gaps, and compose a one-page resume. Match scores, suggestions, and AI-generated text are assistive only. They are not career counseling, legal advice, or a guarantee of interviews, offers, or outcomes.
Your responsibilities
- Upload only content you have the right to use (typically your own resume).
- Verify every fact, date, title, metric, and skill before you send a resume to an employer. AI drafts and example answers may invent or exaggerate details.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
- Keep your account credentials secure if you sign in with Google.
Accounts and free use
You may use a guest (anonymous) session or a Google account. Guest features, AI quotas, and export limits may differ from signed-in use and may change. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service or other users.
AI features
Certain actions call third-party AI providers. Generated text can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. You remain solely responsible for the final content you export or submit elsewhere.
Intellectual property
CVBranch software, branding, and design belong to us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the resume content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVBranch and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes and termination
We may modify the service or these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may discontinue the service or terminate access at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
